Dr. Piyanut completed medical school Ramathibodi Hospital , Bangkok, Thailand in 1996. She completed her general surgery residency at Ramathibodi Hospital in 2002. Dr. Piyanut completed her vascular surgery and transplant surgery fellowship at Westmead Hospital, Sydney West Area health Service, University of Sydney, Australia in 2006 and Advanced endovascular fellowship at Epworth Hospital, Melbourne, Australia in 2007.During her clinical fellowship training at Westmead Hospital, she was undersupervision of Professor John Fletcher, Dr.Mauro Vicaretti, Dr.John Swinnen.She is board certified in vascular surgery and transplant surgery. Dr.Piyanut is a committee of Thai Vascular Association since 2007 until present.She currently serves as the Chief of Division of Vascular and Transplant Surgery at Ramathibodi Hospital. She is the director of vascular and transplant surgery fellowship program at Ramathibodi hospital since 2010 to present.Dr. Piyanut ‘s research interests include outcomes of VTE prophylaxis in cancer surgery, cost - effectiveness of VTE prophylaxis, Endovascular Aneurysm repair in difficult neck anatomy, Hemodialysis access, Kidney transplantation.
